Rob has been a civil litigation and trial attorney his entire career and defended many lawsuits on behalf of insurance companies before realizing his true calling was to serve the injured. During that time he was recognized by Best Lawyers® two years in a row and obtained behind-the-scenes knowledge about how insurance companies litigate. This experience taught him that tenacity in negotiations and a willingness to take cases to trial paid dividends when pursuing justice against them.
Prior to dedicating his practice to representing injured plaintiffs, Rob worked at national law firms where he defended catastrophic personal injury claims and litigated complex commercial disputes in various fields including intellectual property, products liability, and professional liability. During that time he obtained hundreds of favorable settlements for his clients, and prevailed at trial whenever a settlement could not be reached.
Rob developed a passion for litigation while attending the University of Colorado Law School and while there pursued experiences that shed light upon how judges respond to different styles of advocacy, including by serving clerkships under Judge Wiley Daniel in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and Justice Allison Eid with the Colorado Supreme Court. He also competed as a finalist or semi-finalist in various mock trial and moot court competitions, including the Colorado Cup, the Reilly Pozner Mock Trial Challenge, and the Colorado Appellate Advocacy Competition. Prior to law school, Rob earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. He spends most of his free time skiing, backpacking, mountain biking, or otherwise enjoying the great outdoors with his son.
