Should I speak to the insurance company?
It depends! You should never speak to the at-fault driver’s insurance without speaking to a lawyer. That insurance company is not on your side. They will likely use whatever you say against you at a later date. If you tell them you are not injured at the time of the collision, but then hurt a few days later, they may say you injured yourself some other way. This advice is a little different with your own insurance company. It is probably best to speak to an attorney first but, if necessary, the risk of talking to your own insurance company is less than the at-fault company because the law requires your own insurance company to treat you fairly.
