Sam has represented incarcerated people with disabilities as a student attorney, advocating for the development of accessible communications in carceral facilities on behalf of an accessibility coalition.

Sam joined the CGH team in January 2022 as a litigation law clerk, bringing a diverse background and a relentless passion for advocacy. Sam was born in Philadelphia, raised in Virginia, and is a first-generation American to a family of Russian immigrants.

Sam graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. His academic journey continued at the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder, where he honed his legal skills and deepened his commitment to social justice. As a student attorney, he fervently represented incarcerated individuals with disabilities, championing their rights and advocating for the implementation of accessible communication within carceral facilities. Sam also testified before the Colorado Senate Business Committee in support of the groundbreaking Consumer Right to Repair Powered Wheelchairs Bill – the first of its kind in the nation. Outside of law school, Sam worked in various capacities at personal injury and workers’ compensation law firms where he developed a profound appreciation for supporting victims of traumatic injuries, empowering him to make a significant impact in their lives.

As an attorney at CGH, Sam has helped countless clients and victims of traumatic accidents recover millions of dollars in compensation from insurance companies. Sam brings a wealth of experience to the firm, having successfully represented clients at every stage of the legal process, from pre-litigation negotiations to complex litigation proceedings in cases involving catastrophic injuries, automobile and trucking accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, and insurance bad faith. Sam’s comprehensive understanding of personal injury law exemplifies CGH’s steadfast dedication to pursuing justice vigorously on behalf of its clients.
